Privacy Notice

Dreamlet Studio is a brand operated by GregoryO, Inc., New York, NY. GregoryO, Inc. controls the personal information described in this notice except where a provider such as Paddle acts as an independent controller for its own service. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to hello@dreamlet.studio.

• Account information: email address, display name, account identifiers, authentication records, roles, preferences, and membership status.
• Waitlist and communications: email address, campaign source, consent choices, messages, and support history.
• Filmmaker information: name, contact details, profile, film metadata, submission materials, delivery status, permissions, and rights records.
• Purchase information: Paddle customer, transaction, subscription, invoice, tax, refund, and payment-status identifiers. Dreamlet does not receive or store complete card details.
• Viewing and participation: films started, playing time, completion and playback events, member-film identifiers, saved items, screening-room activity, and community submissions.
• Device and site information: approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, referring page, page views, timestamps, diagnostic logs, security events, and cookie or similar-technology identifiers.

We use personal information to:

• create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and provide member access;
• deliver films, remember preferences, and operate editorial and community features;
• process subscriptions, reconcile transactions, and provide customer support;
• measure film engagement, calculate contractual filmmaker reporting and revenue allocations, and maintain an auditable service ledger;
• review film submissions, permissions, rights, uploads, and release readiness;
• send requested transactional messages and consented launch or program updates;
• prevent fraud, abuse, infringement, and security incidents; and
• comply with legal, tax, accounting, contractual, and dispute obligations.

Depending on where you live, our legal bases include performing a contract with you, taking steps you request before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Dreamlet, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

When paid membership opens, Paddle will act as Merchant of Record and independently process checkout, payment methods, taxes, receipts, refunds, fraud checks, and buyer support. Paddle shares transaction and subscription information with Dreamlet so we can activate and administer your membership. Paddle's own processing is described in its Privacy Notice. Paid checkout is not yet enabled on Dreamlet.

Dreamlet currently links to or embeds authorized Vimeo-hosted video. The paid service is planned to use Mux for video hosting, protected playback, and quality and engagement telemetry. Video providers may receive device, network, playback, and pseudonymous viewer information needed to deliver and measure a stream.

Dreamlet plans to use stable film identifiers and pseudonymous member identifiers—not names or email addresses—in Mux playback metadata. We may retain normalized viewing totals in Dreamlet's own database for member features, filmmaker reporting, revenue allocation, audits, fraud review, and dispute resolution.

We disclose information only as needed to operate Dreamlet, complete a transaction, protect rights and safety, or comply with law. Providers currently or prospectively involved include Supabase for accounts and data storage, Postmark for transactional email, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot and abuse prevention, Vimeo and Mux for video, Paddle for payments, and hosting, monitoring, and analytics providers supporting the site.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, authorities when legally required, and a successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale. Dreamlet does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Dreamlet and its providers may use essential technologies for authentication, security, fraud prevention, preferences, checkout, and video playback. We may also use limited measurement technologies to understand site and film performance. Where applicable law requires consent for a non-essential technology, we will request it before using that technology. Browser controls may block some technologies, but doing so can prevent sign-in, checkout, or playback from working.

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Account and membership information is generally retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Waitlist information is retained until you unsubscribe or the list's purpose ends. Support, rights, transaction, tax, statement, and audit records may be retained longer where required for legal, accounting, contractual, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.

Provider retention periods may differ. When identifiable information is no longer needed, we delete, aggregate, or de-identify it, subject to backups and records we must preserve.

Dreamlet and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, providers use recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

You may unsubscribe from marketing messages using the link in an email. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information, and to complain to a privacy regulator. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where an exception or legal obligation applies.

To make a request, email hello@dreamlet.studio. You may also ask to withdraw a filmmaker permission or remove an unlicensed listing; a contractual license or legal record may have separate terms that we must follow.

Dreamlet is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A paid purchaser must be at least 18 or the age of legal majority where they live. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly.

We may update this notice as Dreamlet and its providers change. We will post the revised date and give appropriate notice of material changes. Questions, complaints, and privacy requests may be sent to hello@dreamlet.studio.
