Meet Jacqui
Jacqui de Jong is a Swedish-Australian actress, artist, and storyteller whose path has stretched from a working farm in East Gippsland, Australia to the stages of New York City. Trained in the Strasberg Method and educated at Cambridge University, she brings a rare blend of grounded authenticity and classical craft to her work across film, stage, and original creative projects. Through Dreamlet, Jacqui is now bringing that creative perspective into building a platform for women filmmakers — a space where their work can be discovered, followed, and supported.

Why Dreamlet Exists
Dreamlet exists to put women filmmakers in the spotlight. We make independent films and web series easier to find, help audiences connect directly with the artists behind them, and champion stories about real women — their lives, their joys, their contradictions. Dreamlet is a bridge between filmmakers, fans, festivals, and the future opportunities that come from being truly seen.
Vision
What We're Building
Dreamlet is an evolving platform. Today and in the months ahead it grows to include filmmaker profile pages, film and web-series pages, public video embeds submitted or approved by filmmakers, thoughtful fan reflections, festival discovery tools, "films with a similar heartbeat" recommendations, and tools that help women filmmakers promote their work on their own terms.

Dreamlet is built with respect for filmmakers and rights holders. Creators stay in control of how their work appears here — profiles and filmographies can be updated, corrected, or removed at the filmmaker's request.
