Tiny Dancer
dir. Doug Karr4 min 32s
Asante is tiny, small enough to stand beside a ballerina's slipper. She and Janus live hidden inside an old theatre, in a nest of torn posters and newspaper. From the shadows, Asante watches the dancers in their white tulle and longs to be among them. When the company takes the stage, she slips out onto the boards, a small figure running between pointe shoes under the lights. A four-minute fairy tale, filmed at the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre.
